            1. Why should one opt for laser hair reduction?? 

                It is an excellent tool for permanent hair reduction which saves time and money. Benefits include freedom from ingrown hair and rashes occurring during waxing or threading. Also great from hygiene point of view.             


              2. What is the use of Botox? 
                It primarily reduces appearance of facial wrinkles. Following treatment, results are usually seen within 3-5 days. However it can take up to 2 weeks to see full results. The needle is tiny and icepacks minimize the pain prick sensation during injections. Treatment takes only about 10 minutes. Overall facial expression will be one of greater relaxation and alertness.     

       

              3. What is PRP? 
                PRP , also termed as autologous platelet gel (meaning it comes from patient’s own body) platelet rich in growth factors (PRGF),platelet concentrate (PC), is essentially an increased concentration of autologous platelets suspended in a small amount of plasma after centrifugation.

         4. What are different types of Acne Scars? 

  • Rolling scars: This type causes Rolling or ” Wave like” undulations over skin.      

  • Box scars: They are wider round and oval depressions. They develop as result of tissue loss after a severe episode of acne and give skin a pitted appearance.

  • Hypertrophic scars: They are thick, firm raised scars.

  • Icepick scars: They are narrow and deep.

         5. What are Acne & Acne Scars? 

                Acne is a skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. Acne usually appears on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. Effective treatments are available, but acne can be persistent. The pimples and bumps heal slowly, and when one begins to go away, others seem to crop up. Acne is common among teenagers, with a reported prevalence of 70 to 87 percent. Increasingly, younger children are getting acne as well. Acne in adults may be a symptom of underlying disorders such as PCOS.
             

              6. Is laser hair reduction permanent?

                Most people experience hair removal that lasts several months, and it might last for years. But laser hair removal doesn't guarantee permanent hair removal. When hair regrows, it's usually finer and lighter in color. You might need maintenance laser treatments for long-term hair reduction.
